Gluten free & low in gluten

Low In Gluten Sign:

 

“low in gluten # 1”: The dish has been marinated in soy sauce or contains a sauce flavoured with soy sauce.

We use the brand Kikkoman for our dishes. The gluten in Kikkoman naturally brewed soy sauce is below the detection limit of 10 ppm.

“low in gluten2”:  These dishes although does not contain gluten in their ingredient list, the oil from when it’s deep fried could contain gluten, therefore the dish is mark as low in gluten for safety reasons.

 Takayama is pleased to offer a variety of low in gluten and gluten free options. We have checked all the ingredients that go into your meals and its processes to best suit this requirement. The dishes that are not labelled do not contain any gluten in either its ingredients or cooking process. 

 

Please be aware we are not a gluten-free restaurant, we do have a wide selection of dishes that do contain gluten in our main menu, however we have processes in place to try minimising cross contamination of gluten from happening when possible.
